This page tells about me. My name is Sarah, and I am one of the authors of this website.
I grew up as a third-culture kid, living many years with my family in West Africa.
After our family moved back stateside for good, I attended Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, graduating with a BA in Communications.
After college, I worked as an administrative assistant for an international organization called Operation Mobilization.
Although I enjoyed working with OM, after a few years I decided to follow a longtime dream I’d had to move to France and perfect the French I’d started learning in high school and college.
During my first year in France, I worked at an international school located close to central Paris.
While there, I discovered a passion for languages and decided I liked living in Europe. I spent another year working as an Au Pair with a German family in Strasbourg, France.
The next step seemed to be to move to Germany, which is where I am now. I am slowly learning German, but it’s a bit challenging, seeing as how I live and work in the largest American community outside of America.
As a civilian on a U.S. Air Force Base, I’m discovering a bit of military culture, something I never experienced before.
I’m not sure how long I’ll be in Europe, but while I am here, I’m trying to take advantage of the time to visit close-by countries, experience other languages and try new things.
When my dad invited me to write some pages on his constipation remedies website, I decided to try it. In college I learned how to research and write papers. I am now able to put this skill to use in writing articles to help people better understand constipation and how to beat it.
I hope that you find this first article informative and useful.
